Privacy Policy
This policy explains the information Miqayel handles when you use the web app, connect another service, upload content, or contact support.
Effective and last updated: 15 August 2026
Information handled by the service
- Account information: details supplied during sign-in, such as an account identifier, email address, display name, and profile image.
- Conversations and instructions: messages, prompts, tool requests, generated responses, and feedback needed to provide the features you choose.
- Files and media: documents, images, audio, and other content that you deliberately upload, record, or attach.
- Connected-service data: data requested through an account connection only when you authorize that connection and use the related feature.
- Device and diagnostic data: browser capabilities, feature events, errors, and security information reasonably needed to operate, protect, and troubleshoot the service.
Local and server processing
Some settings, drafts, conversations, library items, and media may be kept in browser storage on the device. Features that need an account, synchronization, an AI model, web search, file processing, or a connected app send the information required for that request to Miqayel's backend and the selected service provider. Content is not sent merely because it exists in your browser; it is sent when a feature requires it or you ask Miqayel to process it.
Connected accounts and AI providers
Connections use provider authorization flows where available. Miqayel does not ask for the password to a connected provider. The provider may issue tokens that permit the access you approved. You can revoke a connection from Miqayel or the provider's own account controls. Prompts and relevant context may be sent to the AI or tool provider selected for a request, and that provider handles the data under its own terms and privacy policy.
Why information is used
- To deliver the feature or action you request.
- To authenticate users, synchronize eligible account data, and protect accounts.
- To diagnose failures, prevent abuse, and maintain service reliability.
- To answer support, privacy, and security messages.
Service providers
Miqayel's code supports third-party infrastructure and integrations, including AI model providers, Cloudflare services, Firebase services, and Composio-connected apps. The provider involved depends on the feature and configuration you use. These companies are separate from Miqayel and may process limited request data to perform their service.
Retention and your choices
Browser-local data remains until it is deleted by you, removed by the app, or cleared with browser controls. Server-side retention depends on the data category, active feature, security needs, and applicable requirements. You can delete eligible chats and library items in the app, clear browser storage, disconnect linked accounts, revoke provider access, or contact support about account data. Deleting browser data does not automatically delete data held independently by a connected provider.
Security
Miqayel uses reasonable technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to a web service. No internet service can promise absolute security. Do not place passwords, private keys, or other secrets in ordinary chat messages. Report a suspected vulnerability using the contact in security.txt.
Children and policy changes
Miqayel is not designed for children under 13. This policy may change as the service changes. The effective date above will be updated when a revised public policy is published.
Contact
Privacy questions and requests can be sent to support@miqayel.com. Include the account email or identifier relevant to the request, but do not email passwords or authentication codes.
